About me

Sylwia Kowalczyk is the Illustrious Illustrator, currently based in central Edinburgh. Born in Poland, lived in Paris for a while and then fell in love with a man who persuaded her (well, he didn't have to persuade her too much) to move to Scotland where they both work, enjoy being surprised by the weather and regularly overdose on fudge. Since she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and completed a postgraduate degree at Edinburgh College of Art (in summer 2010) her always colourful and quirky illustrations have been published in numerous magazines, books and were exhibited at a solo show in Edinburgh in August 2010.
